Advertising Guidelines

• Prabhasakshi News Network (“Prabhasakshi”) sells commercial advertisement space on its websites for the advertising of goods, services, political or other appropriate advertising.

• All advertisements submitted for publication on our websites are subject to approval of our Editor, who reserves sole discretion for determining the types of advertising and promotion that will be accepted and displayed on our sites. Editor may consider many factors when evaluating an advertisement, including but not limited to, the intended audience and the content of the advertisement itself.

• All advertising submitted for publication on Prabhasakshi must be legal and it is the responsibility of the advertiser to comply with all applicable advertising laws and regulations of India. If Prabhasaksi becomes aware of any breach or potential breach of any applicable law or regulation, or of these Guidelines, it reserves the right to remove such advertisements without giving any notice.

• Prabhasaksi will not accept advertising that, in its sole opinion, is not in good taste. Further it will not permit the placement of a) advertisements for objectionable products or services, or b) advertising that is offensive to any individual or group of individuals based on their age, color, national origin, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, or handicap.

• No advertising shall be permitted that may injure the good name or reputation of Prabhasakshi or its affiliate organizations.

• All advertisements are accepted and published by Prabhasakshi on the warranty of the advertiser that it is authorized to publish the entire contents and subject matter of the advertisement and that the advertiser agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Prabhasakshi, its officers, agents and employees against expenses (including legal fees) and losses resulting from the publication of the contents of the advertisement, including, without limitation, claims or suits for libel, violation of privacy, copyright infringement or plagiarism.

• Prabhasakshi carries ads displayed by third party digital ad networks like Google AdSense, Colombia etc, who purchase advertisement inventory on its websites and sell it further to their advertisers. As Prabhasakshi cannot screen such ads, it shall not be in any way responsible for ads displayed such third-party networks and visitors are advised to directly refer to advertisement policies of those networks.

• These guidelines are neither all-inclusive nor exhaustive. Moreover, these guidelines will change over time as the media standards continue to evolve, therefore visitors are advised to refer to updated guidelines as and when they are published.
